Honorary Doctoral Degree from Tel Aviv University

Congratulations to Board Member and Jewish Family and Children's Services Executive Director, Dr. Anita Friedman on receiving an honorary doctoral degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel.  She was honored for her work on fostering Jewish identity, confronting antisemitism, her dedication to Bay Area community, and supporting the connections between the Jewish communities of the United States, Israel and Poland.  Dr. Friedman is a speaker, lecturer and author on social policy and programming for diverse populations, from children and youth to families and the aged; and is an expert on Holocaust and genocide education.
